Coral Predation and Infestations

Often some causes of mortality to corals are caused by heavy infestations or predation by small organisms, which are either microscopic (to small to be seen by the naked eye) or caused by animals which feed on the corals at night. These infestations or cases of predation often manifest themselves as a form of disease but are not technically classed that way. Here we outline the many culprits likely to be in your tanks and the best way to deal with them if you get them.
